A miniature body in a lab
If you are ill, you want a medicine to get well again. Before we can give that medicine to you, we research the exact effects on laboratory-grown cells. The most used method for this is a petri dish, where we grow one layer of cells to which we can add the medicine. But you are not a petri dish. Therefore, we need more relevant methods to grow cells, to mimic illness in a better way.
